Rachel is currently under a lot of pressure, considering the large amount of work she has been given to complete during her extremely busy weekend, as well as the rest of the work from previous weeks. This is mainly due to procastination on her part, and she fully admits to it. Anyone trying to rub it in, however, shall suffer dire consequences.
According to the DISC survey, Rachel may behave a little more Domineering in these conditions, and is less amused by the little things in life, which could lead to more explosive reactions towards any action perceived as annoying.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, Rachel has a biological defence mechanism which comes into effect whenever such things happen. This is known as denial. It is a mental state by which an individual refuses to see the truth of certain more unpleasant things. Other side effects vary from case to case. For this particular individual, she instead becomes less focused in everything she does, and often goes through lengths of time in a dreamlike state. Rachel also seems to revert back to her more childish self and behaves rather like a 10-year-old in such situations. No matter, it is advised to keep a safe distance from Rachel, just in case.
Should anyone like to find out more, detailed symptoms of denial have been mentioned in a previous post, titled Denial.
