You Have A Message From God

it's a new message tone! okay, so that much was pretty obvious. i got it thanks to my lameass cousins - who are supposed to be more mature than i am, being older, but of course, it can't be helped since we share the same genes.

and i have just picked up a couple more interesting [albeit a little corny] jokes from them as well! trust our family to have such a sense of humour. i believe that jerome's actually matured a little, though he insists he hasn't and is in fact still stuck at the mental age of a 5-year-old, compared to my 10 years.

oh, this is the first new year that i haven't gambled at all! well, no one wants to play when kelvin's the banker 'cause he always wins anyway. i spent half the time messing up kenneth's bed [after i ensured that the sheets were brand new], and was nearly able to sleep there, except that jerome's cousin, ryan, kept running in and out of the room and switching the lights on and off [my eyes still haven't recovered from that assault].

btw, the smallest room in that house is at least twice the size of my bedroom, and their bathrooms are GINORMOUS. my aunt has a walk in closet too! it's sooooo nice and huge and all, we [as in, jas, my sis and i] just had to take a few pictures of the house. they even had a lift installed, for my grandma's convenience! though that one turns into a sauna on a hot day. but hey, multi-purpose lift. ahhaha.

i really envy them. kenneth has a bigass TV in his room that probably would take up half the space in mine, and he has a queen sized bed with two of everything!! jerome and i kinda ruined the nicely arranged sheets later, but since kenneth simply adores jerome, he didn't complain at all :D he just has this thing for attracting younger guys.

played mahjong with my mom's cousins, natasha and amanda, who are 17 and 19 this year. amanda sings really well! i love her voice. and yes, they're aunties who are younger than my sis. lol.
Ben: "So, where are you gonna go next?"
Natasha: "Erm, I think maybe Singapore Poly."
Jerome: "Oh, I'm studying in SP too!"
[Natasha gives Jerome a sort of shocked/surprised expression]
Jerome: "I know that look, that's the 'I think I might reconsider my choices' kinda look."
[Natasha gives a guilty-looking smile]
HAHA. watch out for jerome, the.. err, scary relative who terrorizes people with his childishness!

okay, what am i doing at home on the second day of chinese new year writing all this nonsense? i have a sad life! haha. no really, it's true. i'm going out soon, though, so yeah. just woke up about 2hrs ago with a horrible headache. NO, I WASN'T DRINKING. i'm a good girl (: besides, there was only beer and wine there, which i don't drink. not like they'd waste it on me anyway. lol.
